🗒️ Pecan Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 3 large eggs
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
- 1 unbaked pie crust (9-inch)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and all ingredients are well combined.
Add the Pecans: Stir in the pecan halves, making sure they’re evenly coated and distributed in the mixture.
Assemble the Pie: Pour the pecan mixture into the unbaked pie crust, spreading it evenly.
Bake: Place the pie in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes. The pie is done when the filling is set, and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. If the crust is browning too quickly, you can cover the edges with aluminum foil.
Cool: Allow the pie to cool for at least 2 hours before serving. This will give the filling time to set completely and ensure clean, beautiful slices.
Optional: For an extra indulgent treat, serve the pie warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
Enjoy Your Holiday Classic!
Whether it's Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any other festive occasion, this Pecan Pie will be the perfect sweet ending to your holiday meal. I can't wait for you to try it and share it with your loved ones!
Pro Tip: If you want to get ahead of the holiday rush, you can make this pie a day in advance. Just store it at room temperature and serve when ready!
